Self-soothing is a way to bring your body and mind back to calmness after a stressful event. It can often be difficult as an adult to find ways to calm down in a healthy manner. 8 Ways to Self Soothe

  1. Stretch for 5 minutes
  2. Do a 2 minute of meditation
  3. Change your environment
  4. Try breathing exercises
  5. Listen to soothing music
  6. Get a relaxing aroma oil (lavender)
  7. Take a warm shower or bath
  8. Read for 10 minutes
