Vegan Baked Pears: Ultimate Fall Dessert

These vegan baked pears are the perfect fall dessert that is quick, easy and super delicious. It is the perfect dessert for when you don’t feel like baking but you want to enjoy a sweet treat. The best thing about this recipe is that you only need a few simple ingredients plus it is super healthy.

Vegan Baked Pears Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 pears, cut in half
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Handful of walnuts, chopped
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 2 tsp maple syrup
  • 2 drops SlimSweet

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 190C.
  2. Cut the pears in half and cut a small amount off the bottom so the pear lays flat on the baking sheet.
  3. Remove the core and seeds and hollow out a small hole in the center.
  4. Place the pears on the baking sheet and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  5. Fill the empty middle with walnuts.
  6. In a small bowl mix maple syrup, water and slim sweet and mix.
  7. Drizzle pears with the mixture.
  8. Bake the pears for 25 minutes until soft all the way through and lightly browned.
  9. Serve warm and top with any additional toppings like ice cream or whipped cream.
  10. Enjoy!
