No Sugar Update 3

No sugar seems impossible but the longer you do it the easier it becomes. They say it takes about 20 days to form a habit and break a bad habit. This is probably why this challenge has officially become much easier and no longer a challenge but more so a way of life. 

This week’s update is very positive and shows you that there is light at the end of the tunnel. If you are still thinking about doing a no sugar challenge but worried about how difficult it is, take this as your sign to just do it. After 3 weeks you will find it second nature to skip the sugar and eating healthier will be much easier.

 

Use these prompts and a journal and jot down your expereinces! 

 

How are you feeling at the start of your fourth week? 

Motivated, strong and determined. Knowing I’ve made it this far is encouraging and there is only a short time left. I am not craving sugar but it will be nice to enjoy a treat for Valentine's day once the month is over.

 

What did you eat during the week?

No processed sugars at all. For sweets, I’ve found new sugar free recipes like greek yogurt with lemon zest as a great alternative!

 

How did you feel during the week?

I have felt very tired this week, but this could have more to do with the weather than with the challenge. It has been rainy, cold and windy all week which isn’t super motivating!

 

Are you seeing any changes with your body?

No, but the changes I feel on the inside are better!
