Low-Calorie Tuna Salad Recipe

Tuna salad is one of the best quick meals you can make that is both filling and healthy. It is the perfect lunchtime meal that you can eat in a variety of ways - on its own, on bread, with lettuce and much more! Tuna salad is light, easy, and fresh. This makes it the perfect thing to add to your weekly meal list.

Tuna is a great fish to add to your diet because it is full of protein! You really can’t go wrong with a classic tuna salad. Plus, this recipe uses our CleanFoods healthy low-calorie mayonnaise which makes it a lot healthier! Our mayo is 100% VEGAN and has only 1.9 kcal per serving. With this mayo, you can expect 80% less fat from your tuna salad making it a lot healthier. 

This is a large recipe so that you can store some of the extra tuna salad and eat it throughout the week.

Tuna Salad Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 cans of tuna
  • 1 stick of celery, diced
  • 40 g minced red onion
  • 2 small dill pickled, diced
  • 1 clove of garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 100 g CleanFoods Mayo

Preparation:

  1. Drain the tuna cans well.
  2. Put the drained tuna in a large bowl along with the pickles, celery, onion, garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and mayo.
  3. Stir well with a fork until all ingredients are combined.
  4. Serve cold.

 

*Store this in the refrigerator for up to 5 days in an airtight container.
