Healthy Tompouce

HEALTHY Tompouce? Hell yeah! We asked you a couple of months ago which treat we should make in a healthier version and you all voted for Tompouce. It took some time and lots of trial and error to get the PERFECT recipe. But finally, it is here!

Although it doesn't look the same as the regular tompouce, the taste is as close as it gets! We hope you enjoy the recipe and let us know what you think of it!

Healthy Tompouce

Ingredients:

Dough

Chantilly

Icing

  • 200 g Maltitol
  • 75 ml water
  • 2 drops of pink food colouring

Preparation:

  1. Pour the SkinnyShake powder, lemon zest and room temperature butter in a bowl.
  2. Mix the ingredients until it forms a smooth dough.
  3. Remove the batter from the bowl and knead the dough until smooth.
  4. Cover the dough with baking paper and let it rest for at least 30 minutes.

Filling

  1. Put the Almost SkinnyShake Cookies & Cream and coconut milk in a pan.
  2. Mix until smooth and then place the pan on the stove on medium heat.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring until you have a thick consistency.
  4. Once it has a slightly thicker consistency, remove the mixture from the heat and transfer to another bowl. Cover the dough with plastic wrap. PLEASE NOTE! make sure the plastic wrap touches the dough, no air should get in between
  5. Wisk the whipped cream with SlimSweet in another bowl until stiff and set it aside.
  6. Put the 'thicker' mixture in another bowl and add the whipped cream.
  7. Mix the mixtures until the ingredients are combined and then put it in a piping bag.

Icing

  1. In a bowl, put maltitol, water and pink food colouring and mix until everything is combined.
  2. Then set it aside, because you'll need this for finishing later.
Tip: You can use powdered sugar, sucralose or stevia powder.

On to the final result!

  1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius.
  2. Remove the baking paper from the dough and cut off a piece
  3. Roll this piece flat into a rectangle and continue until you have the desired thickness of 1-2 mm.
  4. Then cut this piece into 4 pieces, place the slices on a lined baking tray and sprinkle with Almost SkinnyShake powder
  5. Place the dough in the oven and bake for 9-10 minutes.
  6. Now it's time to start stacking! Decorate 2 pieces with the pink icing.
  7. Take the bottom and pipe the filling on it, then place the piece with icing on the filling.
  8. Your healthy tompouce is now ready to eat, enjoy!

Love,
