Cinnamon Roll Muffins

These cinnamon roll muffins are everything you need and MORE! Sweet, delicious and ready in less than half the time it takes to make a real cinnamon roll. Prepare these for the perfect morning treat to pair with your coffee and prepare to fall in love.

Cinnamon Roll Muffins

Total Time: 35 minutes


  • 2 large eggs
  • 240ml sour cream
  • 60 ml milk
  • 75g butter
  • 2tbsp vanilla
  • 210g all-purpose flour
  • 5 drops slimsweet
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • Dash of salt
  • Filling: 220g brown sugar, 2 tbsp all-purpose flour, 1 tbsp cinnamon, 4 tbsp cold butter
  • Glaze: Almost Skinny White Chocolate Sauce


  1. Preheat the oven to 190C and grease 12 muffin tons.
  2. In a large bowl whisk the eggs, sour cream, milk, melted butter, vanilla and slimsweet until combined.
  3. In a different medium bowl mix the flour, baking powder and salt.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until combined.
  5. Mix the filling: brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon. Then work in the butter until the mixture is crumbly.
  6. Add 2.5 tbsp of batter into each muffin tin.
  7. Sprinkle 1.5 tbsp of the filling on top of the muffin batter.
  8. Add the rest of the muffin batter on top to fill the tins.
  9. Bake from 23-25 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  10. Remove from oven and let cool.
  11. Top with the white chocolate glaze.
  12. Serve and enjoy!
