We are so excited to tell you about our new Habit Tracker! In this article you can read more about the Habit Tracker and what it can do for you. How will it help you achieve your goals? And how can a Habit Tracker help in learning habits?

 

What is a Habit Tracker?

A Habit Tracker is a tool that allows you to track or create a habit. With a Habit tracker you keep track of whether you do a certain habit or not for 30 days. The Habit Tracker can really be seen as a big stick.

 

Why use a Habit Tracker?

Learning a new habit takes about 30 days. By focusing on a certain habit for 30 days, you become aware of this. With a Habit Tracker you can keep track of whether you are performing these (new) habits. Consider, for example, a walk every day or a healthy evening meal.

You can also use a Habit Tracker to achieve a goal. Imagine you want to build a morning routine, which consists of: getting up early, not looking at your mobile, brushing your teeth, 10 minutes of yoga, taking a short (cold) shower and a healthy breakfast. First, you can divide this goal (creating a morning routine) into 6 steps. First you will work 30 days on getting up early, the 30 days after that you will get up early and you will not look at your mobile. This way you can work on your ideal morning routine in 6 steps. In total you will need 180 days (6x 30 days). This way you have enough time to get used to this new habit and you are much more likely to be able to maintain this routine.

 

With tracking a Habit Tracker ...

  1. you are reminded every day of the habit you have or want to create.
  2. you are motivated to make progress. During the 30 days you can literally see what progress you are making, which gives more motivation to achieve your goal.
  3. you get satisfaction in achieving your goal.

 

How can I use this Habit Tracker?

You can use this Habit Tracker in different ways. You can keep one habit at a time, or multiple habits at the same time. You can breathe new life into existing habits or learn new ones. If you want to know how many habits or goals you can best set at the same time, read this article.

You can also use a Habit Tracker for weekly or monthly habits, such as doing laundry, vacuuming, watering plants or paying the bills.

In addition, you can use a goal or habit in different ways. You can use it on a habit to learn or to unlearn. We have listed several examples for you below:

 

You can print, fill out and hang up the Habit Tracker. This way you can learn new habits in an easy and non-committal way.

While completing the Habit Tracker, it is important that you set small and realistic goals for yourself. You can also do this by not being too enthusiastic about making your “GOAL”. Here you enter how many of the 30 days you want to perform this habit. At the end of the 30 days you can see if you have achieved your goal and if you are allowed to carry out your “REWARD”.
